Why Has There Been An Increase
In The Amount Of Music Festivals In The UK?

The increase in proliferation of music festivals in the UK is due to the use of technology - being able to access digital downloads illegally. Becuase of this, revenue streams of niche and mainstream artists and bands are decreasing and can affect their market segmentation. The consumer's expression through legal downloads instead of buying them are affecting the artist and bands, who now need to diversify into music festivals to maintain their revenue.

Music festivals have become far more corporate. The diversification of different events taking place at once offers different lifestyle cultures to a luxury experience and identity - as if it matters to be around certain people. This diversification of events also offer a connectivity of those who express their consumerism in buying tickets to support their favorite artist, or band.

  1. Minor spelling mistake, changed to "corporate". Whoops!

Also, added in the label, it's just beforehand I don't think we where told what the G part etc was. But never mind, it should be set up correctly now.
