Process with Digipaks:
More Creations and Developments
The below design was based off Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album, I think it looks artistic but due to the lack of mise-en-scene it's very uninteresting. I created this to open my mind to other designs and to reinvent my ideas to create something new.
Note error: Only one "L" in Korteling. This will be corrected in submitting pieces - you can easily forget this, it's just "one of those names".

Possible front:
for either front, or inner covers.
I really enjoy looking at this design, however the lines could be removed, or kept in a further development. It's very propaganda influenced and reminds me greatly of old World War Two posters. Propaganda is a form of "information" used as communication aimed towards influencing the public.

Panels 2 & 3 you could have the design going towards the centre on panel 1 (as your example above) and then a mirror of these graphics on panel 3 so there is cohesion.
ReplyDeleteI think the thin lines are too cluttered.
Understood, however we did discuss during the lesson about pros and cons, so what I'm going to do is upload another post of the image without those lines and comment on how it's been improved - to show process etc.
