An excellent presentation Austen. Foot tapping to beat is a bit of a cliche. I once saw footage in a Bertolucci film (it may have been The Conformist) where he uses a high angle point of view shot of autumn leaves sweeping in front of a characher. The camera pans lower and lower as if it is the foot and wind that is scattering the leaves. This footage is splendid and adds pace and atmosphere to mise-en-scene.
